What Are Pitterpats?

Pitterpats are children’s hand and feet impressions in ceramic clay. Unlike other products that offer plaster of paris impressions, mail order kits, oven baked or air dried, Pitterpats is a unique, one on one personalized appointment with a track record of over 13 years.

We start by making the impression in a soft clay that is formulated especially for tiny little fingers and toes. Next comes the fun choices of color, size, and special wording on the Pitterpat, along with the child’s name and age. After several steps including multiple kiln firings, your Pitterpats is ready to

pick up! The finished product is a beautifully detailed and

glazed impression, designed specifically with each customer in mind.

Who Are We?

My name is Cyndi Chambers, better known as Mom to my two blessings, Tamara and Taylor, and Honey Poo to my Prince Steve. It was 13 years ago when my desire to stay at home intensified with the birth of our precious little TLC (Tamara Lynn Chambers). My career background is marketing and graphic design, both of which contributes greatly to the success of the Pitterpats business. In 1991 I began experimenting with clay and the different properties along with kiln firing and glazes. After several months, numerous techniques and much trial and error, Pitterpats was born. What a joy it is to create these adorable and lasting impressions! It has been so rewarding for me, I am now sharing Pitterpats with others all across the United States who would also like to stay at home while earning extra income.
